IMQ services for supporting businesses in their transition towards the circular economy

The adoption of models in line with the principles of the circular economy is one of the strategic priorities of the European Union because it provides an opportunity for growth and development in terms of innovation, the environment, employment and competitiveness. Business models that are less dependent on the use of raw materials facilitate the development of a cost structure that is less exposed to the risk of price volatility as a result of both market dynamics and regulatory intervention. Recent estimates1 envisage possible benefits between now and 2030 amounting to:

  • consumption of resources: a 17% to 24% reduction
  • cost savings of 630 billion euros per year
  • European GDP growth of 3.9%.

To support businesses in their transition from the linear economy to the circular economy, IMQ has prepared a package of services relating to waste reduction, emobility, extension of useful life, traceability and recycling.
