IMQ is a Notified Body for the Ministry of Economic Development, acting as an “A” type Inspection Body, in accordance with Presidential Decree no. 462 of 22 October 2001, for the routine and non-routine testing of:

• earthing of electrical installations with a power supply up to 1000 V;
• earthing of electrical installations with a power supply of more than 1000 V;
• installations and devices protecting from atmospheric discharges;
• electrical installations in work places at risk from explosion.
