Electromagnetic compatibility

The electromagnetic compatibility laboratory can conduct all emission measurements and immunity tests of harmonised European EMC standards, which provide the basis for the conformity of most electrical and electronic equipment with a current absorption up to 64A to the Directive 2004/108/EEC.

Emission measurements

• Harmonics (2 independent benches): in conformity to EN 61000-3-2 and EN 61000-3-12
• Flicker and voltage fluctuations (2 independent benches): in conformity to EN 61000-3-3 and EN 61000-3-11
• RF emissions
• Continual conducted disturbance (3 independent benches): in conformity to EN 55011, EN 55013, EN 55014-1, EN 55015, EN 55022
• Discontinuous conducted disturbance (2 independent benches): in conformity to EN 55014-1
• Insertion loss: in conformity to EN 55015
• Radiated magnetic field: in conformity to EN 55011, EN 55015
• Radiated power: in conformity to EN 55013 and EN 55014-1
• Radiated emission: in conformity to EN 55011, EN 55013, EN 55022.

IMQ has a screened chamber, full anechoic chamber and GETM cell for radiated immunity emission tests.
