IMQ issues Italian manufacturers with a HAR harmonised mark for cables conforming to harmonised CEI standards and for rubber and PVC insulated cables. A cable with this mark is considered to all effects as conforming to CEI standards and is therefore subject to normal quality control guaranteed by IMQ, and is also recognised as conforming to the national standards of the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Holland, Italy, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Kingdom, without any additional technical or administrative formalities. Following an agreement with certification institutes in these countries, cables with the HAR mark are also indicated in the lists of the institutes.
