Technical assistance and assistance with standards

Analysis of products to be imported, identification of applicable European directives and standards. Issue of a technical summary datasheet.
 

Technical file analysis

Assessment of technical documentation supplied by the manufacturer/importer and the validity of applied standards. Issue of an assessment report on analysed documentation.

Assistance in preparing the technical file

If products do not have the necessary documentation to be imported into Europe, IMQ can assist importers and distributors in preparing documents, identifying applicable directives, conducting tests required, assessing user manuals and labelling products, preparing documents required as well as a technical file and issuing an assessment report.
 

Pre-shipment inspections

Assistance in assessing supplies, through scheduled pre-shipment inspections conducted to verify the safety, quantities, manufacturing/processing, functionality, colour, measurements, packaging, labelling, size and assortment of products.
 

Issue of the IMQ mark

Certification and issue of the IMQ mark – a visible guarantee of safety and conformity - may be requested for products scheduled for long-term imports.
