Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC)
Directive 2004/108/EC
As a notified body for the EMC directive, IMQ can assist companies with all activities required by the directive.
The directive concerns electrical and electronic appliances that can cause electromagnetic disturbances or that can be affected by disturbances generated by other sources. It is also applicable to plants and installations comprising electrical and/or electronic apparatus and components (even installed on board machines).
Under the directive, CE marking is mandatory.
