Directives 2009/142/EC (ex 90/396/EEC) and 93/68/EEC

IMQ is a Notified Body for the gas directive. ID number CE 0051.

The gas directive sets out the essential safety requirements for gas appliances (used for cooking, heating, producing hot water, cooling, lighting and washing) and for safety, control and regulation devices.

To demonstrate that products conform to the essential requirements and affix CE marking, manufacturers must contact a notified body for type examination and production control.
